The new 49-euro ticket for nationwide public transport is valid from May 1st. The bus and train flat rate can already be pre-ordered from countless providers. Since the ticket does not necessarily have to be bought from the local transport association, many providers offer vouchers and discounts for bike, e-scooter and car sharing.

The mobility platform mo.pla has actually specialized in on-demand public transport and enables over
your own app
primarily the ordering of on-call buses and taxis. Although this use has so far been limited to a few regions, the Deutschlandticket is also available here.
Just in time for the start of advance sales, the provider launched a campaign called “digital bonus”. If you buy your Germany ticket via mo.pla, you will receive a one-time discount of 10 euros for the first month. Instead of the usual 49 euros, the ticket then only costs 39 euros in the first month.

purchase the ticket in the region.
This creates competition between the various transport associations and providers. It is also not yet certain how the income from the 49-euro ticket will be distributed. The providers are therefore trying to win customers outside of the local tariff area with various campaigns.
