From February onwards, TV audiences will be treated to a new batch of Heidi Klum. “GNTM” will then start the new season.

Good news for all “GNTM” fans: ProSieben announced on New Year’s Day when new episodes of “Germany’s Next Top Model” will be shown. The 19th season starts on February 15th, explains the broadcaster on Instagram and in a press release. As usual, it starts at 8:15 p.m. in prime time – and further episodes can be seen every Thursday afterwards.

There will be a big change for viewers in 2024: It will no longer just be about Heidi Klum’s, 50, “Meedchen”, because in the new season male candidates can also try their luck for the first time. The model mother and the broadcaster had already announced this last summer.

The many men on “GNTM” are “exciting” for Heidi Klum

“It is very exciting for me that many men came to the casting for the first time this year,” Klum is quoted as saying in the current announcement. Apparently the whole thing had more of an impact on the show than one would think. “The atmosphere during filming is noticeably different,” says Klum. “I’m really looking forward to this new dynamic!” But it remains to be seen how well the concept will be received.

ProSieben assures that it “doesn’t matter” how tall or small, how heavy or light the applicants are, or what gender they feel they belong to. The only condition is that the new candidates are of legal age. The 19th season starts with an open casting. The participants who advance will then go on a big young model journey with Klum.
