Probably the most popular episode of every "GNTM" season is running on ProSieben this week: The makeover promises radical changes again.

The big day has come: In the upcoming episode "Germany's Next Top Model" (Thursday, March 4, 2021, 8:15 pm, ProSieben) the makeover is due. Probably by far the most popular episode among viewers – and the worst for many candidates. Dasha (20) is already trembling in front of the scissors: "I'm really afraid that they will cut them off completely and I look like a guy." Ana (20), her long mane also means everything: "Years of work could be in vain with one cut." However, some are also looking forward to the new look from the professional, such as Alysha (19): "I'm really excited, I finally want to have new hair."

Are the top model candidates ready for the often radical new look? Heidi Klum (47) and her stylist Wendy Iles are less interested in that. According to Klum, a unique haircut or color will help models stand out. "Not only to emphasize your personality, but also to get to know new sides of yourself." Sometimes it works, as the past shows: Before Kim Hnizdo (25) was named "Germany's Next Top Model" in 2016, Klum gave her a pixie cut.

The makeover is followed by a fashion show and photo shoot

With further makeover highlights of the past seasons, Heidi Klum announces to her top model candidates what to expect – including the change in Anastasia, who had to say goodbye to her long brown mane last year. "Why are these almost all short hairstyles?", Linda (20) notes immediately in panic. And Romina is certain: "We all get short hair, just imagine!"

In the new episode, after the makeover, the girls have to pass their changed looks in front of Klum and designer Christian Cowan on the catwalk. This time there is another special challenge waiting for the participants: At the end of the catwalk they have five seconds to convince the camera as well. "A 'two in one' so to speak: fashion show and photo shoot," as Klum calls it.
