So you can set up a profile and create clips
Publishing your own clips on TikTok is not rocket science.

TikTok is currently one of the hottest social media apps. The entry into the world of short videos is quite simple.
The popular TikTok social media platform is all about short videos. Within a few minutes, new users can set up a profile and share their first clip. A short introduction for everyone who wants to take a look.
Download and set up your profile
First of all, interested smartphone users must download the app. TikTok is available in Apple’s App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore. After opening the application, users can select a registration method, for example by e-mail, and make an initial selection of the content that interests them.
Under the profile menu item, new users can then tap on “Edit profile”. Here, users can save a profile photo, describe themselves in a short biography or change their names. Users can find a user under the user name marked with an @. The other changeable name is displayed in the profile. The username can also be changed, but only once every 30 days.
The first clip of my own
To create their own video, users have to tap the “+” symbol below. Here you can either use existing content from the smartphone library or record a completely new video. Using items such as “Effects” or “Filters” there are countless options available to adapt the content to your own taste. In addition, users can also give a clip a sound, which can be searched for and selected via the corresponding submenu.
After tapping the tick, users can make further adjustments – such as inserting text or stickers. For texts, users can also determine the color and font, among other things. If you pull the whole thing up with two fingers or squeeze it together, the size changes. The symbol or text can also be moved to another location with your finger. The final settings can be made under “Next” before the clip is uploaded with “Publish”. For example, users can add a description to the video here.
Find funny videos
To find funny or interesting clips, the first point of contact is the “For you” feed, which users can find under “Home”. Here the app always suggests new clips that could match a user’s preferences. Among other things, depending on which other users you are following, what interests you have previously indicated and which videos you have given a like, the system adjusts the suggestions. Users can search for content, other users or sounds under “Discover”.
By the way: You can easily give a like by tapping the heart symbol on a clip. You can follow other users with a tap on their profile picture and then on “Follow”.
