GHOSN JUDGES “SURPRISING” THE “TIMING” OF THE ARREST WARRANT AGAINST HIM
PARIS (Reuters) – Carlos Ghosn, former boss of the Renault Nissan alliance, said on BFM TV on Thursday that the international arrest warrant issued against him by the French courts was of “surprising timing”, in a period “politically loaded”.
He is being prosecuted for misuse of corporate assets, breach of trust and money laundering, in particular.
The second round of the French presidential election takes place on Sunday.
