Released in December 2021, “Ghostbusters: The Legacy” was a moving handover between two generations, signed by Jason Reitman. Her father, Ivan, features very subtly in the film. Warning, big spoilers!!!
Released last December, Ghostbusters: The Inheritance, if he did not know how to rally all the votes, remained despite everything a moving transmission of witness between the old and the new generation. Fans will naturally have shed a tear at the end, revealing the original cast of our favorite Ghostbusters, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson reprising their respective old roles. Alongside them, a CGI version of Harold Ramis alias Egon Spengler, who sadly passed away in February 2014.
Precisely because of this death, the exercise turned out to be complicated. If the production therefore uses CGI, Ivan Reitman himself took on the costume of Egon Spengler, the time to make a few inserts in the sequence.
