Released in 2020, Ghostrunner has enjoyed consistent success ever since, regularly attracting players to its games made of parkour timed in a universe cyberpunk. One More Level and 505 Games ended with Ghostrunner: Complete Editionwhich bundled the base game and its expansions this summer.
Now the studio can fully focus on the sequel, Ghostrunner 2, confirmed as early as last year. On the occasion of the 2 years of the release of the first installment, the developers broadcast a short pre-recorded program in which they spoke about community initiatives, including the Legendary Ghostrunner Challenge rewarding the best players of Ghostrunner with some giveaways, including a replica of the hero’s glowing katana for the winner. They also slipped the game had just surpassed 1.5 million copies sold.
But they also revealed the first ones concept art nextas well as some promises on its form. Ghostrunner 2 will be an evolution, not a revolutionwith a similar vibe and mechanics of gameplay a little more complex, still just as demanding. One More Level wants to further develop the characters and the story, without sacrificing the frenetic dynamics of the rapid sequence of levels, some of which will be even more ambitious.
