Latest exclusive from Bethesda on Sony consoles, Ghostwire: Tokyo will take us to a city in Tokyo – and more precisely in the emblematic district of Shibuya – when its population has been decimated by Hannya, a mysterious masked individual, and his minions, the Visitors. We will embody Akito, a young man who miraculously survived and now the host of KK, a ghost hunter whose soul has been torn from his carnal envelope, just like all the inhabitants of the city. Thanks to the powers of the latter, Akito will strive to counter Hannya’s plans, at the same time as saving the Japanese capital and its inhabitants.
If our first contact with the title reassured us about the aesthetic intentions of its developers, it seemed to us so far a little too wise in terms of gameplay. Let’s hope that the sequel to Akito’s adventures has some surprises in store for us, as this new trailer released by Tango Gameworks and Bethesda, released during Sony’s State of Play, tries to convince us.
