Singer Gianna Nannini’s teenage daughter doesn’t make things easy for her mother. Gianna regularly has to fight with her adolescent daughter. In an interview with GALA, she explains why she is still enjoying this difficult time and what her wishes are for the future.

Italo rock tube Gianna Nannini, 69, became a mother for the first time in 2010 at the age of 54 – a media scandal at the time. Daughter Penelope is now a teenager. “It’s a difficult time,” says Nannini this week in GALA (EVT: 4.4.24). “She has her own character and knows exactly what she wants. I often have to discuss the smallest things.” But, says Nannini, who will be 70 in June, that’s actually exactly what she wants as a mother: “It’s important to me to let my daughter know that she is independent and free.

She wants more babies

What wishes does she still want to fulfill? “Two or three more babies and learning to play the violin,” Gianna Nannini told GALA.
