The PC market is an ecosystem where several players must jointly keep the secret about upcoming novelties. When you develop your new laptop PC, you are in the secret of what AMD, Intel or Nvidia are up to and vice versa. When a leak occurs, it is therefore the entire ecosystem that can be affected and this is what is happening today to Gigabyte, Intel and Nvidia.

Intel 12th generation and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti
We first discover the Gigabyte Aorus 17 E-Series, a PC that promises to be very powerful. It incorporates a new generation Intel Alder Lake processor with the choice of DDR4 or DDR5 RAM. It will be possible to go up to a configuration offering an Intel Core i9-12900HK and a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti.
This new graphics chip would have the right to a TGP of 105 to 130 W, which should allow it to express its computing power quite freely. The screen would not be the poor relation of its configuration, on the contrary, since Gigabyte would offer a UHD (3840 x 2160) mini-LED IPS screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It would be DisplayHDR 1000 certified. The price n ‘is not revealed, we imagine that the bill will be steep, but the technical sheet is very attractive. After an already very impressive demonstration on Apple’s MacBook Pro, we hope to see the Mini LED become more popular on the PC.
Amoled or Mini Led of your choice for the Aero
The Gigabyte Aero 17/16 range is also entitled to its indiscretions. We learn that the brand has made efforts on the integration of the screen to the chassis with greatly reduced edges. Depending on the configurations, the screen can be Amoled with a definition of 3840 x 2600 pixels, a panel produced by Samsung which will offer DisplayHDR 500 and 100% coverage of DCI-P3, or better, a mini-LED panel of 2560 x 1600 pixels DisplayHDR 1000 and refresh rate at 165Hz.
Here again, the PC will be able to offer 12th generation Intel processors and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti or 3070 Ti graphics chip. We now know the program of Nvidia and Intel for this CES 2022.
