The RTX 4000 graphics cards are becoming a little more accessible with each new release, the RTX 4070 will be no exception to the rule.
If things go as planned, NVIDIA will release the GeForce RTX 4070 starting April 13. The opportunity to lower the entrance ticket to the Ada Lovelace generation: the American company has highlighted its efforts to ensure that many cards are at the recommended rate (MSRP).
Gigabyte and triple ventilation
Among the first partners of NVIDIA, we find Gigabyte which has planned a large catalog of RTX 4070 through four ranges: the Aero, Eagle, Gaming and WindForce.

Of these four models, only two will benefit from the 16-pin connector introduced by NVIDIA and which caused some controversy when it was launched. These will be Aero and Gaming. On the contrary, the Eagle and WindForce cards will be satisfied with the classic 8-pin connectors.

More importantly, and you can see it from the photos of these graphics cards, Gigabyte is stuck on a triple fan design. It will therefore be necessary to make do with RTX 4070s which are still very bulky while the manufacturer seems to reserve double ventilation for future RTX 4060s.
Two fans at MSI, Palit and Zotac
MSI is even more ambitious with a total of at least eight different models: two Suprim (12G and X 12G), two Gaming (Trio 12G and X Trio 12G) as well as four Ventus (3X 12G, 3X 12G OC, 2X 12G and 2X 12G OC).
To be completely honest and even if most of these models will undoubtedly be very interesting, we focus here more on the Ventus 2X. These are effectively two-fan models which should result in noticeably more compact and less expensive cards. Logically, MSI has also opted for an 8-pin connector on these cards.

Finally, the Palit Dual OC and the Zotac Twin Edge OC are two other examples of RTX 4070 cards to favor double ventilation which seems to us more in line with the desire for accessibility of this model.
