(CercleFinance.com) – The European Commission has approved, under the Community merger regulation, the acquisition of exclusive control of Gimv by WorxInvest, two Belgian companies.
The operation mainly concerns activities related to employment and financial services.
The Commission concluded that the notified transaction would not raise competition concerns, taking into account the limited market positions of the companies resulting from the proposed transaction and the limited impact on the market structure.
The transaction was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
