The 13th season of Top chef is broadcast from this Wednesday, February 16, 2022 on M6. Glenn Viel replaces Michel Sarran and therefore joins the other experts as member of the jury and team leader. He confided in Parisian about his experience in Top chef and he affirms, with humour, that his task has not been made easy. “They tried to get me twice, they got me once. I quickly rebalanced the score, don’t worry”he joked, specifying the warm welcome he received from Hélène Darroze, Philippe Etchebest and Paul Pairet.
“It’s cooking, but a different context, there are marks to be taken very quickly. We remain human, no one is perfect, I did my best, with my faults and my qualities. I hope to be even better next year“, he added, delighted to be part of this culinary adventure. “I tried to help the candidates to develop as a cook, but especially as an individual. Before you find the cook, you have to find the man.”

Glenn Viel, of Top Chef, is the youngest three-star chef in France
At 43, Glenn Viel is the youngest three-star chef in France and is establishing himself as a reference in the culinary world. He is chef at the three-star restaurant l’Oustau de Baumanière, in Baux-de-Provence. He also worked at the Plaza Athénée with chef Jean-François Piège, a former figure of Top Chef.
If this is the first time that he has been a member of the jury for the M6 show, Glenn Viel knows the kitchens of this program well. Indeed, it had already appeared in Top chefin the final, over the last two seasons.
