No other GNTM episode has as many people tuning in as this one: The big makeover did not disappoint in any way in 2024 either. Like every year, Heidi Klum pushes the candidates to their limits – only this year they are not alone. Some candidates are also expecting a big change that doesn’t always seem easy to process.
GNTM 2024: The makeover with incredible before and after results
It is nothing new that the scissors are used on one or two participants. Who can forget the iconic makeover of eventual winner Kim Hnizdo, whose blonde lengths were radically cut off. What no one expected, however, is that the men in this year’s… GNTM season are also so afraid of losing hair.
Armin loves his top hair, which is usually parted in the middle, and says that he spends 15 minutes in the bathroom styling it in the morning. His colleague Stella takes advantage of this sore spot in him and never misses an opportunity to humorously tease him. He could now drink one more coffee in the morning and he would also need less hairspray. Jokes that could have gone over better given Armin’s tense situation.
But the twins Luka and Julian also have it Makeover 2024 not easy. This much can be revealed: one of the brothers has to have his bleaching bleached off halfway through because he can no longer stand the intense burning sensation on his scalp. Later, Heidi even uses the scissors herself to shorten the top hair of one of them. The hairdressers on set eye this spectacle with critical eyes – at the end Heidi Klum’s stylist Wendy Iles improves the whole thing a bit. One thing is certain: Luka and Julian no longer look alike!
However, the biggest change awaited Jana, whose long brown curls are now completely transformed. She had to sit in the hairdresser’s chair for nine long hours – longer than any of the other candidates. When she looks in the mirror, she hardly recognizes herself. An experience that Jana thinks will be repeated every morning.
