Goal festival in Asiago, no Villach coaching effect
Asiago and Linz held an open day. Although 14 goals were scored, extra time had to decide in favor of the hosts. The Italians led 3-0 after 16 minutes, 4-1 after 33 minutes, 5-2 after 38 minutes and were suddenly behind 5-6 after four goals from Linz within eight minutes. Matthew Mackenzie with his second goal, Andreas Kristler, Brian Lebler and Kristler again were responsible for the turnaround. With 6:6, 6:7 and 7:7 we went into overtime, in which Asiago came out on top.
