After "Godzilla vs. Kong" was postponed several times, fans – at least in the USA – can look forward to an earlier start.

"Godzilla vs. Kong" starts earlier than planned – at least in the USA. The monster spectacle has already been postponed several times, first from March to November 2020, then to May 2021. There was also the question of whether Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures are offering the film for the premiere on Netflix or HBO Max. Now that HBO Max has been awarded the contract, everything is suddenly going faster. In the US, "Godzilla vs. Kong" will start on March 26th, as the industry magazine "Variety" reports.

When does the film start in Germany?

In Germany, May 20, 2021 will apparently remain the premiere date for the time being. This is probably due to the fact that the cinemas are currently closed due to the Corona regulations and also because HBO Max is not yet available in Germany – it is not expected to start before 2022 in this country. It is conceivable that the film, like the new edition of "Hexen hexen", could be seen on the pay-TV provider Sky.

Part of the cast of "Godzilla vs. Kong" include Alexander Skarsgard (44, "True Blood"), Millie Bobby Brown (16, "Stranger Things") and Rebecca Hall (38, "The Town"). Directed by Adam Wingard (38, "Death Note").
