Good deal – Apple MacBook Pro 14 2021 (M1 Pro 8/14) 1TB “5-star” laptop for € 2,584.99

The Apple MacBook Pro 14 is available with no less than 10 M1 Pro / Max processor versions, including a version with 8 CPU cores and 14 GPU cores. This model is therefore the most affordable, but retains all the qualities of the MacBook Pro 14.

Apple is once again hitting hard with a flawless MacBook Pro 14. The only minor complaints that will be made are aesthetic, in particular its notch or the color of the keyboard. In terms of performance, Apple has perfect control over its processor and knows how to guide developers so that their software can take full advantage of it. We appreciate the return of a supplied connector, but we would have liked the manufacturer to go to the end of its process by offering an HDMI 2.1 port and an SD UHS-III port, as long as we do. And what about the autonomy offered… impressive.

Weak points

• No Face ID.
• No HDMI 2.1 port (HDMI 2.0 only).

As an alternative

By taking over the MagicBook Pro on its own, Huawei has corrected its main flaw (the keyboard) and kept its main strength (its screen). However, we would have liked a slightly newer processor, such as an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Zen 3 architecture. To make a perfect copy, Huawei would have been well advised to offer more powerful speakers and a larger capacity battery – l autonomy is, on the other hand, correct. We will finally settle for a free M.2 slot instead.
