Good deal – The Hobot Legee 688 “4-star” floor mopping robot at €199.99 (-17%)

The Hobot Legee 688 takes the opposite view of robot vacuum cleaners equipped with a washing function since it presents itself on the contrary as a floor cleaning robot equipped with a suction function. Versatile, this Legee wants to clean up on all types of soil.

The Hobot Legee 688 is a real nice surprise. Intelligent and versatile, it scrupulously and effectively cleans all surfaces. The application is full of options that allow you to obtain an almost tailor-made cleaning. Among its few small flaws (lack of virtual beacons, high noise level), we especially regret that it cannot cross the threshold bars alone, forcing us to carry it to move it from one room to another. Still, the Hobot Legee 688 is a serious competitor to iRobot’s generally more expensive Braava Jet m6.

Strong points

  • Wipe vibration system that brushes and polishes the floor.
  • Projection of water towards the ground.
  • Many features in the app.
  • Perfect surface coverage and obstacle management.
  • Cleaning efficiency.

Weak points

  • A little high.
  • Noisy.
  • No virtual beacons.
  • Does not cross threshold bars and therefore has difficulty moving from one room to another.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).
