The LG 55C2 and CS were a success in 2022 and their successor, the LG 55C3 – 55-inch (140 cm) version of the LG 65C3 that we tested – should not disappoint. However, few changes are notable, other than a higher brightness peak and a new webOS interface.

For several years, LG has been hitting hard with its C range and this LG 55C3 – 55-inch (140 cm) version of the LG 65C3 that we tested – is still an excellent reference. Certainly, the changes are meager compared to the C2, but we appreciate the increase in the maximum brightness of the panel. The versatility of the TV is always there to enjoy films at home and games with almost no compromise, the best technologies being reserved for the LG G3, the manufacturer’s most high-end model.

The Samsung TQ55S90C delivers very good performance at a rather low price compared to Oled competitors on the market. The image quality is appreciable with infinite contrast and a panel equipped with an excellent anti-reflective filter. The brightness is certainly not as high as on the high-end S95C or TVs equipped with an Oled Meta panel, but it remains high in absolute terms. In addition, the television does very well in video games. However, we can level some criticisms at it, particularly in terms of its ergonomics which suffers from some shortcomings.
