Good deal – The Ninja Air Fryer AF100EU “4 stars” oil-free fryer at €98.20 (-11%)

After the Foodi Air Fryer (AF300EU) and the Air Fryer Max (AF160EU), it is the turn of the Air Fryer (AF100EU) to pass through our test laboratory. So what is Ninja’s most affordable air fryer worth? Answer in this test.

Ninja’s most affordable air fryer is surprisingly the best performing. The requested temperatures are quickly reached and generally well respected. And if the Air Fryer (AF100EU) obviously offers a little less functionality than its big sisters with a wider temperature range, its “Dehydrate” function constitutes an interesting advantage compared to a Proscenic T21 offering, for a similar price, options certainly more numerous, but a bit “gadgets”. Only the capacity of the tank ultimately appears to be a real obstacle, which should however only stop large families.

Strong points

  • Very rapid rise in temperature.
  • Temperature stability.
  • Interesting “Dehydrate” function.
  • Ease of use.

Weak points

  • Tank a bit small.
  • Quite thin recipe booklet.
  • Tendency to heat on the outside.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

With its window drawer, the Pro version of the Smart Air Fryer is even more practical than the classic version, already well equipped with its screen and wifi connection. Xiaomi’s new fryer obviously inherits these advantages. Unfortunately, it also inherits heating problems and struggles to maintain high temperatures. Cooking can therefore take longer than with other models and lack crispness. The capacity of the device also remains a little tight.
