Like the Pro version, the Oppo Find X5 is an excellent smartphone, with no major flaws, with the possible exception of its lack of waterproofing. To reduce the bill, the Chinese manufacturer made small concessions on the technical sheet, such as the choice of a SoC dating from 2021 or a panel without LTPO technology. In use, these choices prove judicious, since the smartphone is very efficient, provides satisfactory autonomy and holds its place in photography. However, its price remains very high, and places it up against solid competition. It is therefore an attractive alternative for those who are put off by the price of the Find X5 Pro.
Strong points
- Pleasant to the touch finishes.
- Very nice Oled screen.
- A powerful and stable Soc.
- Versatile in photography.
- Good battery life and fast charging.
Weak points
- Lack of waterproof certification.
- No LTPO technology for the screen.
- A 2x telephoto lens less convincing than the other smartphone photo modules.

Unfortunately, the mobile stumbles on autonomy, so it remains a notch below a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
