Good deal – The Philips Essential Airfryer Compact HD9252/90 oil-free fryer “4 stars” at 104.14 € (-21%)

Of the four models that make up the new range of Essential oil-free fryers from Philips, the Essential Airfryer Compact HD9252 therefore relies on its small format, but also on a contained price to seduce.

Without much pretension, the Essential Airfryer Compact HD9252 nevertheless has the merit of doing what is asked of it. Its cooking performance is satisfactory on the whole and the dispensation of preheating saves considerable time compared to an oven. It’s a pity that its control panel has not been better thought out, and that its basket is still not a little larger given the size of the device.

Strong points

  • No need for preheating.
  • Relatively compact size.
  • Little noisy.
  • Interesting NutriU app.

Weak points

  • Really small basket.
  • Compulsory mixing of preparations during cooking.
  • Inconvenient and unresponsive control panel.
  • Dirty coating.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

The Extra Crisp is a nice addition to the Cookeo. If the cooking is not very fast, the Moulinex heated lid convinces with its ease of use. The implementation is quick, the settings are simple and the companion application already offers around fifty recipes thanks to the large community that Cookeo brings together. However, the Extra Crisp remains less efficient than many full-fledged oil-free fryers, and alone cannot be a good reason to invest in one of Moulinex’s electric pressure cookers, if you haven’t already. .
