Two years after launching its excellent L’OR Barista, Philips is renewing its coffee maker compatible with L’OR and Nespresso capsules. The Barista Sublime therefore takes up the lineage of a very successful first series.
With the Barista Sublime, Philips brings its capsule coffee maker up to date. Always as simple, fast and efficient, this new generation gains in compactness and manufacturing quality. Compatible with L’OR capsules, whatever the format, and those of Nespresso, this versatile machine also has the merit of dispensing two preparations simultaneously. Too bad that the capsules are made of aluminum, which in fact represents a real ecological abyss.

The Vertuo Next has the same spec sheet as the Premium model we tested. Only the colors differ. We can therefore expect similar performance. With this model, Nespresso has the good idea to offer a small machine that matches the height of large cups. XL coffee lovers can easily be tempted by this attractively designed coffee maker, which is easy to use and maintain. It preserves the aromas and coffee foam both on a small black and on a very diluted coffee. However, you have to be able to deal with a somewhat long preparation time, but also and above all with its expensive capsules and available only in stores or on the Nespresso website.
