Good deal – The Sauter SPI9544B “5-star” induction hob at €409.99 (-10%)

With three single burners, the Sauter SPI9544B is certainly not the most sophisticated induction hob available on the market, but are the basic functions at least mastered? This is what we will see…

Easy to use with its direct controls, the Sauter SPI9544B induction hob does not disappoint when it comes to performance either. The three lights it offers, each with 14 power levels, two of which can be stored, one boost and a function “Boil”, guarantee it a certain versatility. The larger allows a rapid rise in temperature, while the smaller is suitable for more fragile foods. Sauter’s hob can also boast of being quite quiet and energy efficient. In short, an excellent choice for those who are not looking for combinable zones, as the Samsung NZ63N9777GK offers, for an additional hundred euros however.

Strong points

  • Direct commands with two customizable shortcuts.
  • Rapid rise in temperature on the large hearth.
  • Control of low temperatures.
  • Rather quiet.

Weak points

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

Apart from poor management of low temperatures, the SPI4360W has proven itself, just like the Sauter SPI4360B. Indeed, it offers a nice rapid rise in temperature and its total power is sufficient to engage all the inductors at the highest level. Finally, it is easy to use.
