Good news – the number of new infections in Vorarlberg is falling

This is good news: a total of 375 new Covid infections were registered in the state on Saturday, and a further 247 had been added by Sunday evening. So the trend is going in the right direction, namely downwards. Meanwhile, the state government wants to push ahead with the vaccination campaign with all its might.

As of Sunday evening, exactly 10,680 acute corona infections were reported in Vorarlberg – a few days ago it was over 11,000. 132 corona patients currently have to be cared for in the hospitals, 25 of them require intensive medical care. But even if the infection rate in the Ländle is losing momentum, the all-clear cannot yet be given: Vorarlberg is currently the only federal state with a 7-day incidence above the 1000 mark, which the hope of an end to the lockdown on December 13th is not The state government is still trying to push the vaccination campaign forward. Health Councilor Martina Rüscher once again refers to the wide range of vaccination options: In addition to the large vaccination centers and the many medical practices, the vaccination booths in four Vorarlberg shopping centers are still open – registration is not required there, only the e-card and an official photo ID are to be brought along. Incidentally, there is still free capacity for this week – there are still plenty of appointments available for those who want to be vaccinated from Monday to Thursday (from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.) in the vaccination centers in Nenzing and Bregenz.
