In October, Steff Jerkel (52) made his skin cancer disease public. Now the “Goodbye Germany” has emigrated showed the terrifying effects of cancer on Instagram: He had to undergo an operation to have tumor tissue removed. The procedure left a large scar on the right side of his forehead.

“That worries me”

“You can see how I look”, quotes “extra tip” from an Instagram story that has since disappeared of the TV star. “It was a bit harder than you thought.” The tumor is white skin cancer that is now being sent to a laboratory. There they test whether the tissue is benign or malignant.

Next is the left half of the face and then another part of the body with black skin cancer. “That worries me,” admits Jerkel. He was to blame for the extent of the disease because he did not go to checkups. And so he warns: “You only need one precaution, this shouldn’t have been here. Go and see what comes out of it.”

In another Instagram story Jerkel shows himself later with a bandage over the scar and a swollen face. “I did cool it, but the doctor warned me that the third day would be the hardest because of the swelling,” he says. But he has no pain.
