Google Pixel 7 Pro: Now with a free watch

With the Google Pixel 7 (Pro) the US manufacturer is continuing its popular smartphone series. The tenor is the tenor – to be precise, the Tensor G2, the second generation of the in-house processor. In addition to the noticeably improved performance, Google promises a further increase in battery life for the Pixel 7 (Pro): The two Android devices should last up to 24 hours and thus even get power users through the day. There are also two smartphones with improved displays: the Google Pixel 7 has a 6.3-inch screen and the Pro model has a 6.7-inch screen. While the smaller display flickers at 90 Hertz, the larger one scores with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hertz for a particularly smooth display.

Both models have HDR playback. Likewise, the recording of HDR videos with up to 4K and 30 frames per second. In addition to a common and image-stabilized main camera with 50 megapixels and a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera including a new macro mode, the Google Pixel 7 Pro also comes with a telephoto lens for 5x zoom. Again, both models have one thing in common: a fingerprint sensor, a dual SIM slot including a 5G module and a new, integrated VPN function that will soon be activated via Google One. Like other functions, this should be added in the coming months via a feature drop.
