You may remember Androidify, this Google application launched in 2011, on Android 2.1, allowed you to create personalized avatars based on Android’s green mascot. Permanently abandoned and removed from the Play Store in 2020, the latter returns, in a way, in a different form.

Following the launch last year of a revised version of its mascot, Google put a page online allowing you to “ create your own Android Bot» using a tool that will bring back many memories to the oldest users of the OS. Still quite rudimentary, the utility in question nevertheless allows you to create a personalized mascot in a few clicks, based on materials, outfits, and accessories, to be applied to your little one. bugdroid .

Accessible at this address, the tool for creating a personalized mascot allows you to choose between 25 materials and textures (camouflage, tennis ball, wood, translucent materials, etc.), then between 20 different outfits (Kill Bill, astronaut, overalls, Hawaiian shirt…) and add two accessories from around forty, divided into two sections (“accessory” and “props”).
