Google Tasks is rolling out a major new feature to smartphones and computers

If you are one of those who use Google Tasks on a daily basis, this is a feature that should greatly simplify your life.

Google Tasks: you can highlight important tasks

Some features sometimes seem so obvious that it makes you wonder why they weren’t integrated into the application from the start. But because it’s better late than never, Google Tasks now comes with an option that will let you highlight important tasks.

From now on, when you want to designate a specific task as a priority, you will be able to give it a star. As basic as this functionality may seem, it is nonetheless very useful for optimizing your organization. With the arrival of this option in Google Tasks, the Mountain View firm hopes that you will be able to prioritize your tasks more easily, and that it will save you time to find at a glance those that you consider important.

This is an option already known from Microsoft To-Do, but also from Google Drive. Anyway, the deployment of this option in Google’s task management application has already started and should take a fortnight before being available to everyone. Finally, note that this Google Tasks update should affect you provided that you use the application on a computer or smartphone (iOS and Android).
