Google would like to allow us to delete an application remotely from the Play Store

If it is possible to remotely install an application on several separate devices from the Play storeit is currently impossible to delete an application using the same process… but that was before?

Today we learn that the firm intends to go further by allowing us to do more or less the opposite: remotely uninstall an application from several devices, always from the Play Store.

As pointed out SamMobilethis new feature would be particularly interesting for more easily getting rid of an application on certain devices for which uninstallation is relatively “difficult” to access: televisions or connected watches for example.

More generally, this function would be useful to be able to say goodbye, at once, to the same application on all of your devices, without having to carry out a tedious manual uninstallation on each of them.

Anyway, Google puts us on the trail of this new feature through a shared release note for the Play Store v.38.3 (dated November 6). In particular, we can read that a new function will “ help uninstall apps on multiple connected devices “. Understand here that it will probably be necessary for all devices to be connected to the Internet for the uninstallation to be carried out. Uninstallation on disconnected devices should nevertheless be done once the connection is re-established.
