Gran Turismo 7 is full of information during its State of Play

It was expected that sony draw a State of Play this year, but the fact that the show is dedicated entirely to Gran Turismo 7 was rather surprising. But it was a great opportunity for fans of the cult series to get a closer look at this seventh episode, which was revealed in more detail for 30 minutes during the presentation which took place last night.

A full tour of the game

And it’s Kazunori Yamauchi, producer of the series, who was responsible for introducing all this, specifying that this is the Gran Turismo the most complete according to the studio, and that the game is aimed at all profiles, whether you are a neophyte or a big fan of the series.

We are then reminded that the game will feature 400 vehicles at launch, with 34 different locations to travel across 90 tracks, whether new or from old episodes. More tracks and cars will be added after the release.

We were able to see the world map of the game, which gives access to the different modes including a Campaign, before taking a walk around the Gran Turismo Cafe, where we can admire our collection of cars and learn more about these cars. mythical. This State of Play was also an opportunity to see the multiplayer part, with local split screen, as well as the different places where we can join our friends online.

On the technical side, the presentation emphasized dynamic weather and the passage of time, with plenty of detail on the creation of the sky, clouds, and even puddles (note that it was mostly the PS5 version that was shown). In short, a very complete presentation, which is to be reviewed for fans of the genre.

Gran Turismo 7 will be available from March 4 on PS4 and PS5, and will be entitled to several editions.
