The Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo concept alone embodies the Genesis design philosophy: athletic elegance. The design takes the inverted proportions of the cabin and combines them with the anti-wedge spirit typical of Genesis, structured around parabolic lines which create a dynamic tension found throughout the Genesis range.

The design language of the X Gran Berlinetta Concept is refined and muscular, with the volumes centered around the wheels. This concept car features the new Genesis front end which features the famous crest grille extending towards the two double lines of lights which structure and connect the volumes from the front to the rear. The fuselage extends towards the rear in an elliptical concave volume found on other models. At the rear and on the sides, there is respectively a spoiler and receding edges which provide aerodynamic stability at high speed.

The interior is inspired by the beauty of white spaces favored by Genesis, and offers a refined environment to the driver. Essential functions have been prioritized to optimize performance on the track. The digital surround interface serves as an information center connected to the digital surround control system, while the electronic steering column traction controls provide precise maneuverability. The stitched and padded bucket seats protect the driver on the track, but also when entering and exiting the pits. The X Gran Berlinetta concept is characterized by remarkable aerodynamic fluidity.

The designers managed to obtain a drag coefficient of 0.34 by integrating aerodynamic aids, but also by orchestrating internal and laminar flows. The X Gran Berlinetta concept features a central front V6 Lambda II engine, electrically assisted by Genesis E-SC technology. The race-prepared hybrid drivetrain develops a total of 1,071 HP (1,071 BHP) for 986 ft-lb (136.3 kgfm) of torque, making this car as powerful as it is beautiful. The V6 revs up to 10,000 rpm and develops a maximum output of 870 HP (870 BHP) for 790 ft-lb (109.2 kgfm), while the Yasa E engine adds 201 HP (201 BHP) for 196 additional ft-lb (27 kgfm) of torque.

The off-road capabilities of this thoroughbred have made it famous not only in its country of origin, Japan, but also in the rest of the world. It is popular with outdoor recreation enthusiasts and has even become a staple model in the field of off-road motorsport.

The main characteristics of the 4th generation Jimny presented in 2018 are its very square body and its round headlights which recall the original design. The 660 cc turbo engine was specially developed for the Jimny, and the conventional partial four-wheel drive system reverted to a mechanical transfer case. To reduce wheel slip, the car is equipped as standard with a DGL system with electronic brake control. The most popular model in the range is the luxurious XC which comes with plenty of extra equipment, such as cruise control and steering wheel audio controls.
