Resistant to Japanese tropes, run away: Nier is a yandere pure strain, a lover in love yielding easily to violence. She befriended the fatally unpopular arcane of Death, and these two pariahs fight to shape the world according to their desires, to create a universe where their unwanted inclinations are fully accepted. A classic recipe for these antagonists who will therefore be a puppet character, an archetype well known to fans of fighting games where one controls the other like a puppet. Dangerous Liaisons
In Granblue Fantasy: Versus RisingNier will be able to invoke Death and program his next actions using his unique resource, the Love’s Redemptions. They can be seen appearing in the gameplay video below as cards. However, once that resource is depleted, Nier will have to defend herself until the Grim Reaper can return to assist her.
At the end of the video, Cygames also shares a (very) brief teaser of the Lancer Grimnir, whose gameplay we will see during the “Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising and Granblue Fantasy: Relink News Show” on September 16 at 09:00 French time. This will also be the occasion, as the title suggests, to have news of the action-RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink.
We would even hope for a release date for Granblue Fantasy: Versus Risingstill scheduled for the end of 2023 on PC, PS4 and PS5 without further details.
