Grazer won with 6: 0 – 99ers showed no trace of rust at Linz

The 99ers clearly defeated the Linzers away 6-0 on Stefanitag. The success at the bottom was the sixth Graz win in a row. On Tuesday, the KAC comes to the pack derby – in the Carinthian derby, the Klagenfurters dismantled the Villach rivals with 9: 1!

Before the Christmas break, the ice hockey cracks from Graz won five games in a row. And yesterday the 99ers followed up seamlessly and won 6: 0X at the bottom of Linz – no trace of “Christmas rust.” Already in the start third there was no sign of too many Christmas biscuits among the Styrians, they cheered the Stahlstadters on the ears. And thanks to Adis Alagic (6th) they quickly led 1-0. The only drawback was that only one of the 13 shots wriggled in the net. However, it did not turn out to be tragic, on the one hand because goalie Christian Engstrand shut down at the back. And on the other hand, because defenders Mike Boivin (31st, 47th) and Erik Kirchschläger (41st) as well as comeback man Mike Zalewski (46th) increased to 5-0. The 6: 0 (59th) by Michi Schiechl in the power play was the final result. It was the sixth Graz victory in a row – five of them came abroad.
