Boston bombing: the marathon and the hunt (Netflix)

In 2013, when two terrorists who grew up in the United States detonated bombs near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, what was supposed to be the biggest party of the year turned into carnage. The police then launched an unprecedented investigation to identify the bombers and tracked them down to the streets of uneventful neighborhoods, paralyzing the city and gripping a post-9/11 world with dread.

This documentary comes to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the tragedy that shook the American city. Director Floyd Russ (Zion, The other side of sport: general fight in the NBA) created this series, the three parts of which revolve around the days following the attack, reconstructing the manhunt minute by minute from thousands of hours of recordings from video surveillance cameras, exchanges of police radio and cellphone footage, as well as testimonies from police officers, the FBI, but also ordinary citizens whose heroic behavior led to the apprehension of the killers. Audrey came back (Canal+)

Seventeen-year-old Audrey is found unconscious on a country road. Sixteen years later, she wakes up, almost miraculously, from the long and deep coma in which she was immersed. Everything has changed around her, her entourage too. Audrey must then relearn everything, to eat, walk, speak… and to live in a time that is foreign to her and that she does not understand. As a teenager in an adult body, the young woman must also reclaim her body. His memory comes back to him in snatches, even if the memory of the night of the accident still escapes him.

This Canadian series, created by the duo Guillaume Lambert and Florence Longpré (who embodies the main role) is a real breath of fresh air, a marvel of originality and a clever mix of drama and absurd comedy, as the make our Quebec friends. When their grandfather dies, Tom and Mia inherit a building in Athens. Tom, a young startuper trained in New York, joins his sister in Greece to manage the family inheritance. He will realize that Mia, who claims to be studying in Erasmus, is in fact a rebel activist who lies to the whole family. But their differences of opinion and way of life will make the sharing of the inheritance very complicated.

This new French Amazon Original series, created by Cédric Klapisch (In Body, The Young Peril), is composed of eight episodes and co-directed by Klapisch himself, Lola Doillon and Antoine Garceau (Ten percent). Greek salad also promises to address the joys, sorrows and difficulties of today’s European youth. It will be broadcast from April 14 on Amazon Prime Video.

Spider-Man: Far From Home (Disney+)

Peter and his friends are spending their summer vacation in Europe. But they won’t really have the opportunity to rest since Peter agrees to help Nick Fury flush out the mysterious creatures that are the cause of the natural disasters that are hitting the continent.

The second film in the new Spider-Man trilogy, this adventure sends the Spider-Man to the four corners of Europe, and confronts him with the strange Mysterio.
