Green elected officials suggest a socially and ecologically fairer alternative with a threshold below which all households would benefit from an administered tariff lower than the government’s tariff shield. This threshold would be around 5 megawatts per person per year, 20 megawatts for four people to benefit from satisfactory comfort, heating, hygiene, a calculation based on the average consumption of the most modest 10%, developed Nicolas Thierry, elected from Gironde.
And if a household of four people consumes fifteen instead of twenty, he is reimbursed for the saved megawatts, because he has behaved virtuously, he continued.
Chaired by Cyrielle Chatelain, the group of 23 deputies more widely presented its disruptive plan for the climate, which will inspire its amendments to the draft budget for 2023.
