This Saturday, April 27, the show The Voice experienced many twists and turns for this first session of cross battles. And it’s not over since an emblematic coach of the program will make her comeback on the show soon.
The announcement was made at the start of this new season of The Voice 2024 : Jenifer, emblematic coach of The Voicewill be back on the show to take a seat on the famous red chair.
The first winner of the Star Academy, who has not returned to the red chair since 2019will make a return with great fanfare in season 13 of The Voice since Jenifer will be able to give her opinion on the latest talents and help qualify the 8 semi-finalists.

As long as die-hard fans of singing competitions are also fans of the Star Academy: it’s a hit! Jenifer makes her big comeback in The Voice next Saturday May 11 at 9:10 p.m. on TF1! The 41-year-old singer, who participated in the famous singing competition show 6 times between 2012 and 2021, returns to her place as coach for an evening on the famous red chair.

Indeed, Jenifer is back in The Voice 2024 as a super-coach during super cross battles. This is the second year in a row that this role has been given in The Voice, specially created for the super cross battles session. Last year, it was Mika who did the honor of his presence as a super-coach before returning for another year as a member of the jury alongside Vianney, Zazie and Bigflo and Oli. This year, it is the famous interpreter of “Under the sun” who marks his big return in the show broadcast this Saturday, May 11 on TF1.

What is the role of the “super-coach”?
For the second year in a row, the super-coach will help decide between the talents during the super cross battles and give his opinion on the latest talents on the show. Like last year, the vote of the super-coach will constitute 10% of the votes of the final result for every super cross battle. A power that can change everything for the talents of Zazie, Bigflo and Oli, Mika and even Vianney.
At the end of the cross battles, 16 candidates from The Voice will still be competing. The remaining talents will then compete for their place in the semi-finals. To begin with, the candidates will be decided by the public present on the set of the show. Then, Jenifer’s role will be to potentially tip the scales in one direction or the other thanks to her vote.
