Pizza and pasta are undoubtedly among the Italian classics par excellence. But both dishes can not only taste incredibly delicious, they can also be quite unhealthy. But since renunciation is not an option, we have a healthy alternative that doesn’t save on taste – but on calories: the Green Goddess Pizza!

The term Green Goddess may sound familiar to some, after all, a salad under this name has been causing absolute internet hype for weeks. As the name suggests, it contains a lot of green ingredients that add up to a creamy, delicious salad that is definitely worth the mass euphoria. And the pizza variant of the viral salad also makes our culinary hearts beat faster. The 50 Shades of Green of the healthy Green Goddess Pizza match each other perfectly and leave nothing to be desired.

Ingredients for the pizza crust:

  • 2 cups spinach (broccoli, kale, or zucchini optional)
  • ½ cup grated light mozzarella
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ garlic clove
  • For refinement: salt and pepper

Ingredients for the pizza sauce:

  • ½ cup basil and parsley
  • ½ cup cashews
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • For refinement: salt and pepper

Ingredients for the topping:

  • 1 cup spinach
  • Optional: Some asparagus and/or peas
  • Some mozzarella for gratinating

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees and line the baking trays with baking paper.
  2. Mix all the ingredients for the pizza crust together and flatten with your hands on the baking sheet into one large circle or two small circles.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
  4. Now remove from the oven and turn once carefully and bake in the oven for another five minutes.
  5. Then let it cool down a bit.
  6. Mix the ingredients for the pizza sauce with a hand blender until smooth and spread on the cooled pizza crust.
  7. Wash the remaining vegetables for the topping, cut into small pieces and spread on the pizza with the mozzarella and bake in the oven for another 10 minutes.

Et voilà, you have the most delicious healthy pizza you will ever eat.
