The line-up of Grey’s Anatomy has changed significantly in the past few years.

Again, a familiar face from “Grey’s Anatomy” will no longer be seen regularly in the future. He should still appear as a guest star.

It was recently announced that the popular doctor series “Grey’s Anatomy” will have an 18th season. Now it is clear, however, that another figure will only be seen sporadically at most. After there have been numerous changes in the cast of the series in recent years, another actor will no longer be part of the main cast.

Greg Germann (63), the Dr. Thomas Koracick plays, will only be seen now and then in the future. Because in the latest episode, which ran on May 20 on US broadcaster ABC, say goodbye according to a report from the industry website “Deadline” two actors – Germann and Jesse Williams (39), whose end was already known before.

“Greg Germann is a comedic genius and we can count ourselves lucky that he has brought his talents to our show in recent years,” explains showrunner Krista Vernoff (47). “We’ll miss Greg terribly in our day-to-day work – but we plan to see Tom Koracick again.” Vernoff confirms that Germann should at least return in guest roles.

Germann has played the character since 2017. He calls the chance to work with “all the incredibly talented people” involved in the series over the past few years as an honor. The actor also thanks the numerous fans.
