Her last appearance was a few years ago, now Sarah Drew will soon be back as Dr. April Kepner can be seen in "Grey's Anatomy".
The US actress Sarah Drew (40) returns to "Grey's Anatomy" in season 17, at least for a guest appearance. The broadcaster ABC confirmed on Twitter a corresponding report from the industry magazine "Deadline". Happy to have Drew back on set. The actress originally left the series after season 14 in 2018.
She is also very excited explained Drew on Twitter. Her "Grey's Anatomy" colleague Camilla Luddington (37), among others, was very happy about the news. "Yay, we love Sarah Drew," she wrote on a variety of heart emojis. Drew could only return the compliment.
Walsh also wants to perform
Most recently, Kate Walsh (53) had offered to return. In an interview with the US magazine "People" she recently said: "If they could do it, I would like to go back." But how? "Maybe I could zoom in to call. Dr. Addison could zoom in," said Walsh, who starred in the series as Dr. Addison Montgomery played before she left the show many years ago. Walsh got the spin-off "Private Practice", but was also seen in guest appearances in "Grey's Anatomy" again and again.
