This Tuesday, December 28, 2021, the disappearance of Grichka Bogdanoff (or Bogdanov) was announced. The scientist and essayist died at the age of 72 in hospital and surrounded by his relatives. The world has just made new revelations on the causes of his death.
Grichka Bogdanoff would be died after contracting Covid-19. He had been “hospitalized on December 15 in the intensive care unit of the Georges-Pompidou hospital“, we learn. And that’s not all, according to a source close to Bogdanoff’s entourage, Igor was also admitted to the hospital on the same day and for the same reasons.. The two brothers were apparently not vaccinated against Covid-19. The duo were however optimistic at the start of the health crisis, confiding no apprehension vis-à-vis the vaccine. “A vaccine has been tested, therapies have been developed to overcome the side effects of the virus. We’re testing antibiotics. We will get by“, Igor wanted to be reassuring during an interview for Paris here.
Recall that Grichka and Igor Bogdanoff released their first book in 1976: Keys to science fiction. A book which received a very good reception and which opened the doors of the audiovisual sector to them. They start by hosting a section on the show Enjoy your meal then, they write a column on science fiction on the Antenne 2 program, One out of five. In 1979, they are at the head of their own show, Time X, on TF1 and this until 1987. It is this program which ends up making them known to the general public. Over the years, the Bogdanoff brothers have both become popular figures, until obtaining a scientific chronicle in Do not touch My TV in 2017 with Cyril Hanouna. The host was also one of the first to pay tribute to Grichka by sharing a poignant message on Twitter.
