A new report appears to claim that Rockstar Games may be gearing up to release GTA 6 in 2024, which means an announcement may be coming soon.
Fans have been wondering for years when Rockstar will finally announce GTA 6. While this next installment is probably one of the most anticipated games of all time, the company remains mum on details about it.
However, with the re-release of GTA 5 set to arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles later in 2022, players are hoping that once the port is complete, the franchise’s next installment will finally be revealed.
And recently, according to new reports from the company handling GTA, a 2024 release seems more than likely.
Fans are eagerly awaiting official information from Rockstar about GTA 6.
Financial analysts believe that GTA 6 will be released in 2024
As Axios reports, Take-Two executives said their compound annual growth rate through 2024 will be 14%. Turns out, that could be a great sign for things to come.
“There are only a handful of titles that can give management the confidence to come up with such strong predictions, so we think there’s at least one Rockstar IP that should be out by now. year 2024.“Explains a Jefferies analyst.
Additionally, Cowen’s Doug Creutz said Take-Two’s prediction translates to a whopping $9 billion, which would mean “a probable launch of GTA 6 during 2024“.
In the past, these financial goals revealed by Rockstar have already indicated GTA games. In 2011, Take-Two had hinted that GTA V would be released in 2013 when it announced its predictions.

When will GTA 6 be announced?
According to some leakers like Tom Henderson, GTA 6 could be released in 2024, while others have hinted at a potential 2022 announcement followed by a 2023 release.
While there’s been no confirmation yet from Rockstar, there are plenty of signs pointing to a return of Vice City for the sixth installment in the GTA franchise. A mysterious photo of Miami hidden in GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition has notably led fans to believe that this is the first official screenshot of GTA 6.
However, we’re still going to have to wait a while to find out what Rockstar has in store for us in the next few years.
