While GTA 6 undoubtedly wins the prize for the most anticipated game, its predecessor GTA V continues its ascent again and again. Take-Two shared the results of its third quarter of the current fiscal year, and without much surprise, Grand Theft Auto V therefore sold 5 million additional copies, bringing its total sales to 195 million.
At this rate, the title could therefore reach the symbolic milestone of 200 million games sold by the end of the fiscal year. Sales which can of course be partly explained by the presence of the game on all platforms, but which above all benefited from a resurgence following the broadcast of the trailer for GTA 6. Thanks to the sales of GTA Vthe GTA saga, now has nearly 420 million copies sold.
As for other Take-Two titles, Red Dead Redemption 2 is not to be outdone since it has passed the milestone of 61 million copies sold. Figures which allow the license to reach a total of 81 million units sold.
Finally, much less impressive, the last NBA 2K
records 7 million sales. A weaker result than its predecessor.
