(Boursier.com) — GTT was chosen in early 2023 by its partner, the Korean shipyard Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, to design the tanks of two new LNG carriers, on behalf of a Middle Eastern shipowner. GTT will design the tanks of these two LNG carriers, which will each offer a total capacity of 174,000 m3 and will incorporate the Mark III Flex membrane containment system, developed by GTT.
Delivery of the vessels is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026.
