Broadcast this evening on TF1, “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” hides many easter eggs. Back to the cameo of an infamous Marvel character that you can find in the first part of the film.
While Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is currently in theaters, the second installment of the Marvel trilogy directed by James Gunn is broadcast tonight on TF1. This new adventure during which Peter Quill, alias Star-Lord, discovers who his real father is, holds many treasures for lovers of small hidden details.
Indeed, like any Marvel feature film worth its salt, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is a veritable gold mine for easter egg hunters. We advise you to open your eyes towards the beginning of the film, at 24 minutes and 48 seconds exactly.
Just before a verbal confrontation between Yondu (Michael Rooker) and Stakar, the leader of the Ravagers played by Sylvester Stallone, while the planet Contraxia reveals its cyberpunk style through a few shots, we can indeed see a costumed duck, seated at a bar , courting a young woman.

This character – rather easy to spot since there are 4 seconds left on the screen – is none other than Howard the Duck, as all Marvel fans have certainly guessed.
Sad hero of his own feature film – Howard A New Breed of Heroes, in 1986 – this extraterrestrial palmiped whose adventures on the big screen had been produced by George Lucas had met with a particularly icy reception from the public and critics.
The webbed hero of this commercial failure nevertheless remained a figure vintage in the hearts of fans, and was therefore offered a few small appearances in the MCU. In addition to this little scene of strong flirting in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, we could already see the “ugly duckling” locked up behind the windows of the Collector, in the post-credits scene of the first opus.

Also present in the animated series What if…?, the character also made a much more discreet cameo at the end of Avengers: Endgame, where we could briefly notice him among the army of superheroes, facing the legions of Thanos.
