It’s getting fresh! We spoke to Guido Maria Kretschmer to find out which shoes we should wear when we step out the door in the cold season.

It always goes higher – this doesn’t just mean the heel, but the entire sole! We found out in the interview that chunky boots are winter’s must-haves. Guido Maria Kretschmer knows what positive aspects the shoe has in store for us:

The big advantage of these shoes is that you keep your feet warm because you have a large distance to the ground with the sole.

And what do we combine the it-piece with? “The boots can be worn with almost everything”, tells us Guido. Especially with a long coat, the thick profile soles just look cool!

Guido Maria Kretschmer’s tips for smaller wearers of the shoe trend

Short legs and boots don’t go together? Yet! Nobody has to do without the trend, after all it just depends on how you wear it. Guido Maria Kretschmer advises_ There should be a clear gap between the skirt hem and the shaft. His personal styling rule: the boot should end a hand above the ankle.

Mini skirts and dresses with tights go well with this. Pants that reach far over the boot are not flattering in this case! If you prefer pants instead of a skirt, Guido advises choosing a more voluminous one that you can shove into your shoes. Anyone who has not yet discovered boots for themselves can grab boots. Because these stretch the leg optically and therefore also look great on shorter legs.

Boots with block heels or thick soles?

We take both! because Guido expresses the most important thing about the silhouette:

“Boots make your legs really long”

The boot ABC is long, Overknees, underknees, rubber boots.. If you prefer to be more elegant on the go, your choice should be the block heel and for lovers of rough styling, the rubber boot is a suitable choice. combined with a knit dress essential in the season! If it’s still missing in the closet, then the woolly oversized sweater under a trench coat will also do. And what colors are popular for boots Guido? Aubergine, cognac, red and green tones are the reigning nuances of the winter season. No matter which color you choose, warm feet are guaranteed thanks to the thick soles. The last decision to be made is suede or faux leather? That’s up to your taste!
