This is how you style the trend color in autumn

Guido Maria Kretschmer knows: pink is trendy! The bright trend color ensures a good mood in the gloomy autumn. But how do we style them properly?

A little color never hurt anyone! When the trees have dropped their leaves, autumn is gloomy enough to grab something bright from your closet. Designer Guido Maria Kretschmer really likes the trend: “It’s a happy look that also has something very soft about it,” he explains to us in an interview. We wanted to know from him: how do we best style the bright color in everyday life?
Guido Maria Kretschmer recommends: You should have these pieces in your wardrobe
Small but fine – short knitted jackets in pink can be a great highlight. Combine it with simple suit trousers or jeans – and the look is complete. This cardigan combination suits wearers who like it a little more playful, says Guido: “It’s an eye-catcher with every look”.
And in the office? Guido recommends one pant suit in pink, a classic yet cheerful choice. Which will definitely bring a smile to the faces of some colleagues when they see it. If all this is too much for you, you can start small. Accessories are subtle flatterers that you can use to gradually approach this color world. How about a handbag, earrings or ring in pink?
The trend color pink can also be tough
Although pink was associated with masculinity before the ’50s, many think of femininity when they see the color. In the meantime, all colors and therefore also pink and pink should be gender-neutral! Pink can also be worn wonderfully away from the Barbie style: If you like stronger contrasts, then try a black leather jacket, advises Guido. This can give the outfit a cool twist. What the designer advises against, however, is to use the pink tones in the make-up palette: that can quickly become too much. There you can stay more natural so as not to steal the show from the pink pieces. In the end, however, the same applies as always: you should feel good, then you will shine brighter than any pink!
