Some solve it through resolutions, others cut their hair – and some just renovate again. The turn of the year evokes in many of us the desire for a new beginning. No problem! We already have a new challenge for you: Guido’s Deko Queen is entering the next round, and candidates are still being sought. Would you like to decorate with Guido Maria Kretschmer? 5 signs your home needs a makeover
1. In addition to the Christmas decorations, the Halloween bat is laughing.
If we have lived in a home for a long time, we tend to overcrowd it with decoration – and simply leave seasonal elements as they are, after all we have gotten so used to them! Out with it, it’s time to restart.
2. The only thing that still fits your style is your candle holder.
A lot of furniture has accumulated over the years; it is taken over from the family or when you move in together. Inevitably, several tastes come together, and in the end few things go together. If you also have the feeling that your interior is rather thrown together, it is time for a fresh start – which does not mean replacing everything, but rather deciding what you really want to keep and put in the limelight.
3. You have the urge to tidy up even though you have just laid down on the couch.
