Guillaume Peltier, ex-number 2 of LR, writes to party members to join Zemmour

In a letter sent to LR members, the former number 2 of the party, Guillaume Peltier, rallied to Eric Zemmour since last weekend, calls on them to join the far-right candidate.

The president of LR Christian Jacob seized the Cnil for “fraudulent use” of files and served formal notice on his former number 2 Guillaume Peltier after a letter in which he called on LR members to join Eric Zemmour, in letters that was able to consult AFP on Thursday.

“I call on all those who believed in the RPR, those who loved Philippe Séguin and Charles Pasqua, those who had a beating heart during Nicolas Sarkozy’s campaigns, those who want the right to remain the right, to join us” , wrote Guillaume Peltier, expelled from LR on Sunday after joining Eric Zemmour, in this letter to members of his former party.

Anger by Christian Jacob

For Christian Jacob, “the sending of this communication characterizes a fraudulent use of our files since only the executives of the movement can consult them by personal and secure access”. Guillaume Peltier “was no longer entitled to use them”, he adds in his letter to the president of the Cnil Marie-Laure Denis, hoping that “such acts will not happen again”.

Guillaume Peltier became Eric Zemmour’s campaign spokesperson as well as the vice-president of his Reconquest party after joining the far-right candidate.

Christian Jacob also wrote to Guillaume Peltier to deplore a “non-respect of our rules and our values” and to remind him that the use of files by an unauthorized person “falls under the offense of embezzlement, punishable by five years of imprisonment and a fine of 300,000 euros “. “I therefore put you on notice to immediately stop using the personal data of members of the movement”, adds the president of LR in this letter.
