The father, Guy Carlier is a well-known television man, a long-time columnist alongside Marc-Olivier Fogiel, he is also the author of numerous shows. Known for his verve and his sense of humor, the 73-year-old man has also experienced several health problems in recent years. In a relationship with a certain Christine for several months now, he appeared significantly thinner during his last public outings.
Father of three boys, the best known of them and of course Raphaël, alias Carlito, one of the two members of the duo McFly and Carlito, who has been a hit on YouTube for several years. Recently, the latter spoke about his complicated relationship with his father. “There’s a gray area. An area where things aren’t terrible or great. […] I hate this area more than I hate my relationship with my dad”, he explains in essence. With Jeannine, his companion at the time, Guy Carlier also had another child, Stephane, born in 1970 and now 52 years old. A son who is much less talked about, but who is no less talented.

Based in Chalon-sur-Saône (Saône-et-Loire), far from the hustle and bustle of Paris, the latter first made hypokhâgne, before a master’s degree in History at Paris IV. He was then freelancer in several newsrooms Parisians before leaving to live in Los Angeles for a period of his life.
